“Media Palitra” holding’s various publications and the newspaper “Banks and Finances” periodically publish publications related to the over- priced tariffs of mobile voice and broadband services existing in Georgia which does not correspond to reality.

GNCC has issued written warnings on entities authorized to provide services in the field of electronic communications – “NEO NET” Ltd, “Badagi” Ltd, “A+B” Ltd and “Telecom Georgia” Ltd due to the failure to present information and for making changes in the founding documents without Commission’s prior consent.

In accordance with the decision of GNCC, “Jodo Telecommunications” Ltd has been sanctioned in the form of written warning due to the failure to present information.

GNCC has reflected changes made in the Georgian law “on Broadcasting” in the forms of declaration of conformity.

On July 1, 2016, at 12 pm, the presentation of GNCC’s activities report of 2015 will be held at the hotel “Radisson Blu Iveria.”

Formal administrative proceeding against “Geocell” Ltd launched at GNCC based on a complaint submitted by the subscriber T.S has ended with an agreement.

In accordance with the decision of GNCC, an authorization of TV-Company “Kavkasia” Ltd has been modified.

In accordance with the decision of GNCC, written warning has been issued on the person authorized for transit of broadcasting “A+B” ltd for illegal re-transmission of few broadcasting channels.

In accordance with the decision of GNCC, “ Silknet” JSC has obtained a roght to use numbering resource in the city of Samtredia.

GNCC, in accordance with the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications” has granted a right to use numbering resource to “Magticom” Ltd issued for 643 317 subscriber numbers, since, the license validity was  about to expire.
