An agreement on co-operation for the following year has been signed between Georgian National Communications Commission and the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania.

GNCC has granted a permit to use numbering resource to “Geocell” Ltd.

“Georgian Media Network” Ltd has addressed GNCC with a request to modify its broadcasting authorization for the purpose to reduce length of the broadcasting and to specify the thematic.

GNCC has satisfied the complaint submitted by non-governmental organization “Human Rights Center” against “TV Imedi” Ltd.

Today, the chairman of GNCC Mr. Vakhtang Abashidze and the president of the “Caucasus University” Ltd Mr. Kakha Shengelia have signed the memorandum of cooperation between the organizations.

GNCC, based on recent statements made by the president of “Magticom” Ltd David Lee in regard to the alienation of retail service segment operational assets of “Caucasus Online” releases an official statement to the public:

GNCC has issued written warnings on entities authorized for transit of broadcasting “TV Kakheti” Ltd and “Cinema Kakheti” Ltd due to the illegal re-transmission of several channels, as for “Gorda” Ltd, the company has been given a fine in the amount of 3 000 Gel.

At the session held on February 11, GNCC has granted a prior consent to transfer №B59 license privately owned by “V S “Ltd to “Momavlis Reklama” Ltd (Radio “DardiMandi).

GNCC has issued a written warning on an entity authorized for transit of broadcasting in the municipality of Kvareli - sole proprietor “Paata Abralishvili” for an illegal re-transmission of several broadcasting channels.
