GNCC, in accordance with the decision of December 29, 2015, has announced a contest for the purpose to select number portability central database administrator

GNCC has registered “Eurasia XXI” Ltd as a broadcaster in the departmental registry of authorized undertakings.  

At the session held on April 7, 2016, GNCC has granted rights to use numbering resource to several companies.

GNCC, based on application submitted by “Momavlis Reklama” Ltd (Radio Dardimandi) has launched public administrative proceedings for the purpose to carry out the modification of company’s radio broadcasting №B59 and №B76 licenses.

GNCC has fined citizen D.K in accordance with the Article 1441   of the Georgian “Code of Administrative Offenses” in the amount of 5 000 GEL for the provision of electronic communications services without proper license and authorization.

GNCC has cancelled public administrative proceedings that have been launched based on the application of “Caucasus Online” Ltd in regard to review joint application of the companies submitted in relation to the acquisition of retail service segment of “Caucasus Online” Ltd by “Mobitel” Ltd.

In accordance to the decision made by GNCC, “Akhtel” Ltd has been obligated to present the information regarding the access capability of “Silknet” JSC on free electronic communications ducts and the tariff of this service.

The chairman of the Georgian National Communications Commission Mr. Vakhtang Abashidze and the representatives of the Commission’s office took part in discussion organized by “Corporate Social Responsibility Club.”

The next public hearing session has been held at GNCC based on the joint applications submitted by “Mobitel” Ltd and “Caucasus Online” Ltd in relation to the acquisition of retail segment services by “Mobitel” Ltd that are in possession of “Caucasus Online” Ltd.

GNCC has issued written warnings on “Gorda” Ltd and “IVERIA SAT” ltd due to the failure to submit information to the Commission.
