An Extraordinary Meeting of the Expert Group on ICT Household Indicators (EGH) and Expert Group on Telecommunication/ICT Indicators (EGTI) took place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 1-3 March 2017. The meeting approved new methodology of measuring IDI (ICT Development Index). Head of Market Analysis and Strategic Development Department of the Commissions' Office – Rati Skhirtladze was the chairman of the meeting.

Georgian National Communications Commission started reviewing dispute based on the complaint submitted by K. Kaladze against “Magticom” Ltd by the resolution of 15 December 2016.
