“R.B.G” Ltd has addressed GNCC with an application for the modification of the broadcasting license where it has been noted, that company wished to carry out specialized broadcasting instead of a private general broadcasting. GNCC has carried out the modification of the license using the means of simple administrative procedures and has defined to the company the broadcasting in the form of specialized broadcasting sub-variety (movie/TV shows/entertainment programs).

In accordance to the Georgian law “on Broadcasting,” “TV-Company Maestro” has addressed GNCC in regard to the authorization procedures. According to an application, “TV-Company Maestro” has requested an authorization in the field of private general broadcasting. GNCC has registered the company in the Register of Authorized Undertakings.

GNCC has made a decision to impose administrative responsibility on “Akhalneti” and has fined the company to pay the statutory minimum of 3000 GEL. Based on a research conducted by the Commission, it was determined, that “Akhalneti” Ltd, which is an authorized entity, does not fulfill obligations envisaged in the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications,” – hasn’t submitted forms of statistical reports and regulation fee calculations.
