Parliament Elects Ani Vazagashvili as Member of the Communications Commission

The Parliament of Georgia has elected Ani Vazagashvili as a member of the Communications Commission with 80 votes. She will replace Vakhtang Abashidze in this position. Ani Vazagashvili has 11 years of professional experience in the legal field. 

Since 2024, Ani Vazagashvili has headed the legal departments of Teleimedi and Studio Maestro. From 2019 to 2024, she served as chief lawyer in the Legal Support and Administrative Proceedings Division of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Prior to that, she led the litigation team at the law firm Samartlis Gza. From 2015 to 2017, she held the position of lawyer at the same organisation.

Ani Vazagashvili is a lawyer by profession. From 2013 to 2017, she studied at the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. From 2017 to 2020, she continued her studies at the School of Law of New Vision University, specialising in international private and public law, after which she was awarded a Master’s degree in Law.

Ani Vazagashvili has also completed various local and international courses in the field of law.
