The Media Academy of the Communications Commission continues its Masterclass series with online lectures by Giorgi Khaburzania, who has 22 years of experience as a media manager and producer. Over the last few years, he has produced some of the most popular Georgian TV shows, including Georgia’s Got Talent, Master Chef and GeoStar. The course of online lectures allows viewers to learn free of charge about the process of creating mega-shows and high-quality television product.

Giorgi Khaburzania’s masterclass will be available on the Media Academy YouTube channel from today. In the series of 8 online lectures, the experienced producer shares his knowledge and presents the history of Georgian mega-shows.

The lectures cover important topics such as the development of Georgian TV show industry, production and editing. Giorgi Khaburzania explains to viewers how the first Georgian mega-show was made, what the Georgian TV show industry has achieved so far, how the most popular shows are produced, and what skills are required to create quality projects and programmes. The masterclass includes details about each stage of the process, from planning to the final product. Giorgi Khaburzania also talks about the difficulties and challenges in this field.

For the past two years, the free online masterclasses of the Media Academy have allowed people with an interest in journalism to learn from successful professionals everything about the media in general, the process of creating a high-quality media product, as well as all other topics that are relevant to professional journalism.
