Goga Gulordava Becomes ComCom Member for a Six-Year Term
Goga Gulordava has been appointed as a member of the Communications Commission for a six-year term starting today. He has 26 years of professional experience. The Parliament of Georgia approved Goga Gulordava as a ComCom member unanimously, with 77 votes.
Prior to becoming a member of the Communications Commission, Goga Gulordava worked for two years as a financial monitor and auditor at Teleimedi. From 2020 to 2025, he served as an Advisor to the General Director of the Georgian State Elecrotystem and subsequently as Director of Internal Audit at the same institution. Between 2016 and 2020, Goga Gulordava was a Member of the Parliament of Georgia, and from 2013 to 2016 he served as the head of the Tsalenjikha Municipality.
From 2011 to 2013, Goga Gulordava held the position of Director at the Georgian–Israeli medical clinic Oxford Medical Georgia. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as a lawyer at LLC Media Alliance. Prior to that, he served for two years as Director of the Georgian Forestry Consulting Centre, and in 2008–2009 he was a lawyer at the Tbilisi Legal Centre (TLC). Between 2000 and 2007, Goga Gulordava worked in various positions at the Chamber of Control of Georgia. Initially, he served as Chief Inspector of the Department of Reforms and Foreign Relations, and later as a Lead Controller in the same department. Subsequently, he held the position of Lead Controller in the Internal Control and Special Assignments Division. In 2004–2005, he became Lead Controller in the Real Sector and Privatisation Department, after which he held the position of Chief Controller in the same department. Before joining the Chamber of Control of Georgia, he worked for two years as a legal consultant at LLC Universal.
Goga Gulordava is a lawyer by profession. From 1995 to 2000, he studied at the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. At various times, he has completed training courses in customs and tax legislation, public procurement, financial accounting, as well as courses for auditors and prosecutors in Georgia and abroad, including the United States and Germany. In addition, he has passed the qualification exam for prosecutorial staff.
