ComCom Media School Holds a Seminar for Journalists on the Coverage of Diplomatic Issues

The Media School of the Communications Commission held a seminar for journalists and people interested in journalism on the subject of “Coverage of Diplomacy and International Politics.” The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Directorate for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomat Kakha Sikharulidze. At various times, he was the Ambassador to Italy, Czech Republic, China, Malta, and San Marino. He was also the Spokesperson and First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Directorate for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomat Kakha Sikharulidze. He was the Ambassador to Italy, the Czech Republic, China, Malta, and San Marino at various times. He was also the press speaker and First Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the trainer shared his many years of experience working in the media and talked about how diplomacy works in practice, as well as what the language of diplomacy means and how to understand the protocol formulations. The seminar participants also learned about the practices of working with sources and verifying information, the questions needed to uncover important details, and the basic principles of practical diplomacy. At the end of the meeting, the participants were issued certificates.
