ComCom Media Lab Trains Startuppers on Protection of Intellectual Property

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission hosted a training for startuppers on the subject of Protecting Intellectual Property in the Digital Age. The meeting was chaired by Salome Jojua, founder and head of the legal department of 4S, who shared her experience in the field of protection of innovations and intellectual property in a competitive environment. Salome Jojua is a certified mediator of the Edwards Mediation Academy and a member of the Georgian Mediation Association.
During the meeting, participants learned about important issues such as the different types of intellectual property and their importance; the process of registering and protecting intellectual property; as well as dispute resolution and management of potential violations.
For more than five years, the Media Lab has been holding important events and other activities to support startups free of charge.
