ComCom Media Academy Trains Journalists in Preparing a Documentary

The Media Academy of the communications Commission held a seminar for journalists and students of the faculty of journalism on the subject of “Television Documentaries – From the Idea to the Screen.” The seminar was presented by film directors Keti Sadgobelashvili and Giorgi Ebralidze.
The meeting discussed the essence and goals of documentary filmmaking, as well as the development ideas, themes, characters and stories. In addition, participants learned about the different stages of creating a creative team, the specifics of working with them, as well as planning and budgeting for filming. Part of the meeting was devoted to the editing process, correction, and preparation of trailers and teasers. The Media Academy awarded certificates to all participants of the seminar.
