ComCom Media Academy Hosts a Seminar by Ia Sukhitashvili on the Subject of Camera Work

The Media Academy of the Communications Commission hosted a seminar for journalists and journalism students on the subject of “Camera Work and Expressive Arts.” The meeting was chaired by the Georgian cinema and theatre actress Ia Sukhitashvili, whose latest role in the film April won the prize for best performance at the APSA Awards and the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. In addition, she has won the Best Actress Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival, as well as many other prestigious film and theatre awards.
During the meeting, participants learned about important issues related to camera work, such as techniques for working confidently and naturally with the camera, methods of expressing emotions, managing tone and accent, audience communication strategies, and methods of convincingly delivering a story, which will help them better prepare products in journalism.
For more than five years, the Media Academy has been offering free trainings and seminars by leading industry specialists to improve media standards and enhance the qualifications of those working in this field.
