ComCom Launches the Second Phase of the Digital Support Programme in Martvili

The Communications Commission has launched the second phase of the Digital Support Programme in the municipality of Martvili. As part of the initiative, ComCom representatives met with the mayor’s local representatives and provided detailed information about the programme. Following the meeting, participants attended a training session focused on digital literacy and safe internet use. In addition to its theoretical component, the training was interactive and included practical exercises. 

The Communications Commission will conduct training sessions in an additional 15 target villages, including Lekajaie, Patara Tamakoni, Alerti, Boboti, Chaburta, Lekobale, Dghvana, Patara Inchkhuri, Meore Gurdzemi, Lepochkhue, Orka, Lebache, Nojikhevi, Stepan Dabali, and Etseri. Any resident aged 14 and above in these settlements can attend the trainings free of charge. Participants will learn essential skills such as searching for information online, using Google applications, and effectively utilising social media platforms, among other topics. Since November 2025, the Communications Commission has already implemented the Digital Support Programme in 15 target villages in the municipality of Martvili, conducting 56 training sessions on digital literacy and safe internet use. More than 900 participants have attended the trainings in the following villages: Didi Chkoni, Doberazeni, Meore Gurdzemi, Meore Kitsia, Mesame Balda, Najakhavo, Nakhunavo, Noga, Oche, Patara Zhinota, Saberulavo, Skurdi, Targameuli, Tsinakverkve, and Vakha.
