ComCom Launches the Second Phase of the Digital Support Programme in Martvili from 21 April
The Communications Commission will launch the second phase of the Digital Support Programme in the Municipality of Martvili from 21 April, covering an additional 15 target villages. These include Lekajaie, Patara Tamakoni, Alerti, Boboti, Chaburta, Lekobale, Dghvana, Patara Inchkhuri, Meore Gurdzemi, Lepochkhue, Orka, Lebache, Nojikhevi, Stepan Dabali, and Etseri. Resident of these settlements aged 14 and above can attend the training sessions free of charge. As part of the programme, participants will learn essential skills such as searching for information online, using Google applications, and effectively utilising social media platforms, among other topics. Since November 2025, the Communications Commission has already implemented the Digital Support Programme in 15 target villages of the Municipality of Martvili, conducting 56 training sessions on digital literacy and safe internet use, and training more than 900 beneficiaries. The seminars have already been held in the following villages: Didi Chkoni, Doberazeni, Meore Gurdzemi, Meore Kitsia, Mesame Balda, Najakhavo, Nakhunavo, Noga, Oche, Patara Jinota, Saberulavo, Skurdi, Targameuli, Tsinakverkve, and Vakha.
The Digital Support Programme is part of the state internetization project Log-in Georgia. The programme aims to provide rural populations with access to high-quality internet and promote the effective use of digital services. The project is co-financed by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank.
