ComCom Launches the Digital Support Programme in Gori
The Communications Commission has launched the Digital Support Programme in the municipality of Gori. As part of the initiative, informational meetings were held with representatives of the local government and administration, as well as with the head of the local educational resource centre. ComCom representatives also met with the residents of the target villages and provided them with detailed information about the programme.
The Communications Commission will conduct trainings in the following 17 target villages in the municipality of Gori: Adzvi, Akhalsheni, Kelktseuli, Kordi, Kvemo Akhalsopeli, Kvemo Shavshvebi, Marana, Nadarbazevi, Natsreti, Satburi settlement, Shertu, Tedotsminda, Tergvi, Tsitsagiantkari, Variani farm, Zemo Rekha, and Zemo Sobi. Any resident of the aforementioned settlements over the age of 14 can attend the trainings free of charge. During the seminars, participants will learn about important issues such as searching for information online, using Google applications, using social platforms purposefully, and more. The Digital Support Programme is part of the Log-in Georgia project, which is being implemented in support of the state internetization programme. The project has already been implemented in 20 municipalities, and more than 14,000 beneficiaries have been trained.
