ComCom Expands Cooperation to Raise Awareness among Young People
The Communications Commission has signed a memorandum of understanding with LEPL Youth Agency, the Public Defender of Georgia, and the Competition and Consumer Protection Agency of Georgia to raise awareness among young people.
The goal of the memorandum is to jointly cooperate in strengthening youth centres and spaces, with a view towards their strategic development and effective communication with young people. Within the scope of their respective competencies, the parties will contribute to the implementation of youth projects and raising awareness. The cooperation will include projects designed to raise awareness among young people about the programmes and services offered by the state agencies. The strengthening and development of youth centres and spaces in the regions will constitute one of the important tools for the state's communication with young people, ensuring access to informal education and services.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Member of the Communications Commission Ani Vazagashvili, Acting Head of the Youth Agency Ana Bukhrashvili, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani, and Deputy Chairman of the Competition and Consumer Protection Agency, Levan Kalandadze.
