ComCom Conducts “AI for Employment” Training for Students at the Initiative of the Youth Agency

Within the framework of LEPL Youth Agency’s Youth Events Support Programme, the Communications Commission conducted a training session titled “Artificial Intelligence for Employment” for 60 university students participating in a summer camp at the Kvareli Justice Training Centre. The training was led by Nino Gvagvalia and Salome Guguchia, trainers from ComCom’s Digital Support Programme, who have many years of experience delivering training in media literacy, digital literacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

The training covered a range of topics, including the introduction to innovative AI tools and their effective use, the integration of AI into professional development and employment processes, AI as a personal assistant during the job search process, local and international employment platforms, LinkedIn profile optimisation, etc.

The training module is designed to help young people develop future-oriented competencies and skills. The use of AI as a personal assistant (e.g. for writing CVs, generating cover letters and conducting information searches) saves time and helps users complete everyday tasks more effectively. Proficiency in innovative digital tools equips participants with “future skills” that are highly valued by employers. Integrating AI into the employment process enables young people to filter job vacancies more intelligently, prepare for interviews through simulations, and align their skills with the current labor market demands. In addition, familiarisation with local and international employment platforms opens opportunities for freelancing, remote work and international internships. The training provides participants with practical tools that can help them become more confident job seekers, present themselves as modern digital professionals, and use AI responsibly to save time and resources.

The themed youth camps organised under the Youth Agency’s Youth Events Support Programme aim to support the development of young people’s personal and social competencies through informal education methods, encourage healthy lifestyles and social responsibility, and raise awareness of active citizenship and patriotic values among the youth.
