Collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
The project supporting the institutional development of the Georgian National Communications Commission began in October 2000. The project considered the assistance of American experts in management, regulation, legal, technical and economical aspects.
The Commission accepted and took into consideration the recommendations of the United States Agency for international Development, related to frequency spectrum management, organizational management, interconnection, tariffs and regulation and other issues. The program is over, but the Commission continues the active collaboration with United States Agency for International Development.
